Paphos is a beautiful city located on the southwest coastline of Cyprus. It is known for its baking heat, unique geography, archaeological sites and beautiful coastlines amongst many other attractions. If you are looking for a holiday which is more than just sunny beaches, then this is the place for you! In this blog, I will highlight my top five favourite reasons to visit Paphos! Cat sanctuary (Tala Monastery cat park)   Are you a lover of cats? If so, then this is the holy grail for cat lovers! Paphos has many stray cats which are at risk to disease, abuse or danger. This cat sanctuary rescues vulnerable cats by taking them in and caring for them. It is founded and run by volunteers who actively feed, treat and care for the +700 cats. You are able to come and visit these cats with many of them being very friendly!  It is free to visit with the incentive for a donation which is up to yourself!
